48 Days to the Work You Love

Recently I read a book called, "48 Days to the work you love" by Dan Miller, this is a book that Bob suggested I read.  Work has been very challenging for me lately. I've struggle with "work overload" and grouchy people. I have been questioning myself on why I  dislike my job. It has gotten to the point where I dread going in to work and Friday can't come fast enough. So I took Bob's advice and we picked up the book and I read it. The book talks about finding a job that uses your God given talents, not just working  a J O B. So many people are in a career because of the money or because their parents were in that field or because it was forced upon them. It is so important to love your job and I've always known that.... just lost sight of it. So I am on a quest to find that job that God has intended for ME! I know it is out there.... somewhere.... and in God's perfect timing, it will come.

Oh yeah..... Just for the record..... I do believe all my jobs have been God ordained and have loved every single one of them. I  just feel at this time God is starting a new work in me.

Pick up this book! It's a great one! "48 Days to the Work you Love" by Dan Miller

The Weekend

YEAH!!!!! Tomorrow it's Friday! I find myself ready for Friday long before it gets here... I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Saying that I'm ready for the weekend. We have a busy weekend planned and I'm looking forward to it. The kids are gonna spend one night at Mammy & Pa-Paw's, we are going out with friends for Bob's 30th Birthday, FPU Class and next week I am taking some vacation days. (I'm gonna spoil my kiddos while Bob makes money) That's pretty much it for now....I'm gonna go clean up from dinner.

I've been 30 for six month now and tomorrow is my Hubby's big day! I can't believe we have spent a decade together! We turned 20 right after we got married, now three kids and two dogs later... here comes 30! It's cool to be with your high school sweetheart, to see each grow and learn about life together. It feels like we've only began. We have so many plans and goals for the future and I can't wait to achieve with the one I love the most!!! Babe if you read this, I love you and Happy 30th!!!! May you be 30 , flirty (only with me!) and thriving!!

As good as it gets!

I thought I'd give blogging a go! Now I can keep up with all my cousins & friends! LOL

Here's a little blip of where we are!

I think at this point in life.....things are as good as it gets! Bob & I are so blessed to have a fabulous marriage & the the fabulous kiddos! We are on a financial quest to be debt free. We value our time as a family, with our friends & our community at Agora. It has taken us so long to get our act together financially that when we finally decided we were sick of living the way we were and changed it, our WHOLE life changed. We have found that money effects every area of your life! We are closer as a couple, we communicate so much better, the stress of living paycheck to check is gone & the blessings have came rolling in! It is truly incredible!

As for our kiddos, they are the best thing in the whole wide world. Caleb Riley is almost 9, Eden Marie 6 and Aaron Isaiah 5. They are it! As I sit here in type my eyes tear up thinking about them. They each are so different; Caleb has the heart of a servant, he is my pleaser. Eden is my princess & a friend to ALL. Aaron is ornery, he puts on smile on every face & loves to have a good time! As you can see we are truly blessed.

I look forward to blogging, I agree with Amy, it's definitely putting myself out there!
